Wolverine Mutual Insurance Company Goes Live With BindExpress Suite
Columbia, S.C. – July 27, 2020 – SpeedBuilder Systems, Inc. (SBS) today announced that Wolverine Mutual Insurance Company (Wolverine) has gone live with the BindExpress Suite® in the state of Michigan for the Personal Automobile line of business; the first step in the company’s efforts to modernize. Wolverine is in the process of adding Personal Auto for the state of Indiana, with support for the Homeowner’s line of business in both states soon to follow.
“We are proud of this first milestone in transforming Wolverine’s front and back-office operations,” said Rod Giess, President of SpeedBuilder Systems. “To deliver the project, Wolverine made full use of the over-31,000 configurations in the BindExpress policy, billing, and claims modules. We also successfully completed over 25 external integrations with comparative raters, information providers, and payment processors. This was a challenging implementation.”
“Ease-of-Use is a must for our independent agents and insureds, and a longstanding challenge for Wolverine Mutual,” said Jim Laing, president of Wolverine. “BindExpress solved this with straight-through-processing, seamless integration to multiple comparative raters and data sources, and workflow designs that have earned accolades from our agents. More important, we have seen a spike in new business from the time we released it to the marketplace. Even during the pandemic, our submissions have been strong; a testament to the new technology platform.”
Built using open source technologies, the BindExpress Suite’s AlwaysCurrent Architecture™ is the only market solution that enables clients to customize the system as desired, yet accept all product updates and enhancements at any time, without retrofitting the customized code.
