Assist in implementing, testing and supporting our BindExpress Billing software to clients in the property and casualty insurance industry.


Objectives to Be Fulfilled by Candidate:
SpeedBuilder Systems sells software solutions to carriers and MGA’s in the property and casualty insurance industry.  The principal duties of this position are to support the implementation of our BindExpress Billing (“BX Billing”) system.

You will have direct contact with the Billing and Accounting departments of clients, evaluating and documenting their processes, and needs and provide training and advice in best practices with our system.

Specific duties include:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in various billing methodologies used in insurance

  • Translate high level business requirements into detailed design specification documents for use by QA and development staff. 

  • Provide requirement interpretation and guidance to developers on insurance billing, and integrating with general ledger and payment vendors and systems.

  • Develop and coordinate testing functions which include preparing functional and regression test plans, preparing test scripts, execution of test plans, reviewing output and interpreting results, researching and analyzing identified issues and writing detailed problem reports.

  • Participating in the requirements management processes, including change control, version control, tracking and status reporting.

  • Prepare training materials and policy and procedure manuals for use by internal and external audiences.

  • Provide application software training to new employees and clients’ end users. Participate in marketing presentations to prospective clients with emphasis on accounting, billing, and reporting.  

  • Interact directly with client’s management and internal team to expedite resolution of production issues.

  • Facilitate sessions to effectively resolve issues when they arise.

  • Research business rules, requirements, and billing and accounting.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science or related field preferred 

  • Five or more years’ experience with implementing Property and Casualty Policy Administration Software.

  • Three or more years working specifically in the area of insurance billing.

  • Proven ability to perform the Specific Duties listed above.

  • Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to write requirements and Use Cases.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
